Positive: The place was clean and cozy with a good laundry setup

Negative: The bed wasn’t that comfortable, which was fine. What wasn’t fine, was the fact that after I had extended my stay for one night, I was locked out because the entry code had been remotely changed. Even after contacting the manager the previous day to make sure it wouldn’t be an issue. Let me be clear, after 11am(checkout time) the old code couldn’t be used but the new code didn’t take effect until 3pm(check-in time), so even though I had paid and contacted manager previously, I was locked out for 4 hours with all my things locked in. The manager’s contact phone number listed was out of service or disconnected, confirmed by me and by booking.com customer service. The email contact worked but was only responded to hours later after 3pm check-in time. The overall is that the property itself is not bad, the management however couldn’t be bothered or even contacted in a reasonable time, or bother tweaking details of their automated service even when contacted in advance.

Positive: Selena was PHENOMENAL. She was very attentive, caring, supportive, and even helped me to bring items into her property. The basement suite was very spacious, organized, and had all the conveniences one would expect. There was a kitchenette, laundry facilities, a beautiful bathroom, sofa, desk area, and much more. I loved the ability I had to leave through the back and to use the digital key lock system. Selena had provided me with supplies to ensure an exceptional stay. I went ahead and replaced nearly all of them and added a bonus item as well. Above-and-beyond! There is a reason that Selena has solid ratings online!

Positive: I love the cozy set up. Absolutely loved having a kitchenette and laundry. The whole layout was well thought through. It allowed me to set up a small office and it made me and my clients feel safe and comfortable.

Positive: It's located in a beautiful, green, serene area of Virginia. It's literally magical as there were fireflies out at night!

Negative: There was nothing I didn't like. I don't have a car and it didn't bother me that the closest grocery store, and restaurants were thirty minutes walking in distance, but I would prepare other solo travelers that do not have a car.
